The Lucas Heights Resources Recovery Centre is a 125ha site situated on Little Forest Road Lucas Heights. The site is accessed from New Illawarra Road and is licensed to accept 550,000t per year of solid putrescible and non-putrescible waste including C&I and C&D waste.
Select are currently and have been contracted to provide landfill services at the site since 2011, these services include a public drop off and resources recovery transfer station, tip face operations, stormwater & leachate management, maintenance of access roads & litter control.
In addition to these services for the environmental solutions Select also provide dry hire plant to Suez Organics who are also situated on the site.
As part of our landfill services infrastructure Select operate an accredited heavy equipment workshop at the site inclusive of 2 full time qualified plant mechanics and 1 apprentice. This facility allows Select to provide immediate support to both landfill and Organics operations on site ensuring operations are maintained.
