Porter Street Shared Pathway

Select Civil have were awarded the Porter Street Shared Pathway Construction project in May 2019 by Wollongong City Council. The project involves the demolition of existing footpath connecting Princes Highway to lower Porter Street, North Wollongong, installation of electrical services and overhead pedestrian lighting, adjustment and protection of local utilities, construction of 230m of widened and raised shared user pathway with improved grades, as well as finishing works.

The total project value is $580,000, and allowing for delays to the project due to unforeseen ground design issues, is still on target for October completion.
