Berkeley Netball Courts Stages 1 and 2

Two separated projects for the demolition and reconstruction of an outdoor netball courts complex to meet National playing standards, including subgrade treatment, low tolerance asphalting, technical court surfacing, lighting and PA systems.

The site had unexpected ground conditions, and a collaborative approach with Client was required to overcome, while working withing Council budget and constraints. Despite the challenges, the successful completion of Stage 1 in 2022 gave the Client high confidence in Select’s ability to deliver the works, and were subsequently awarded the Stage 2 tender 2024.

Throughout both projects, the team worked closely and collaboratively with Council and principal stakeholders, Illawarra Netball to manage works around the playing season, overcome ongoing challenges and reach good project outcomes.
