Island Point Road

Select Civil have been contracted by Shoalhaven City Council to undertake road upgrades and repairs to several sections of Island Point Road, St George’s Basin, to improve the longevity and performance of the road. The project commenced in February 2019 and is due to reach practical completion in April 2019. The total project value is $565,000.

The project involves significant traffic control, pavement profiling, lean mix concrete subbase placement, deep lift asphalt placement, spray seal application, line marking and minor remedial works. The works are also occurring directly outside the major commercial outlet area of St George’s Basin, and as such significant efforts have been undertaken to plan and communicate the works to the businesses adjacent.
